My sprinkler guy could not figure out why my sprinklers were not working in the backyard; he brought in his electrician and they speculated that the main wire was somehow cut in the back; I haven't done any type of digging projects, so they blamed it on roots from the trees - even thought they were not 100 percent sure.  They recommended that I hire a company that specializes in finding the break, which would require digging up my backyard.  This didn't seem right, so I called Alex Sprinkler Services and talked to Alex.  He asked me a few questions and had me look at my control box and it didn't seem right to him either.  So, Alex came over the same day and was able to find the issue - it was not a break in cable.   The connector's were very dirty and he was able to clean them; he also noticed the new connector's that were put in, were for indoor wiring, not outdoor, so he fixed them as well.  Alex is extremely knowledgeable and is a fantastic troubleshooter and very personable.  Now my sprinkler's work perfectly.  If anything goes wrong in the future, I will be calling Alex.  I highly recommend Alex for your sprinkler needs.

In need of sprinkler repair service, I immediately went to Yelp for recommendations.  After reviewing available options, I called Alex since he had many current 5-star reviews.  I spoke with Alex and arranged an on-sight inspection.

Alex arrived promptly, inspected the system, and determined an underground line was broken by tree root growth. He outlined my options for repair and costs.   Alex inspected the entire system and made repairs and adjustments as needed and took time in explaining the entire system and control panel.

I found Alex Professional, honest and reasonably priced.  I highly recommend his service and will continue to use his service.   Thank You.

I called Alex for help with repairing/replacing a few sprinklers I broke with my lawnmower. I give Alex five stars because he showed up on time, came prepared with parts to perform the repairs, was patient to inspects all my sprinklers (.5 acre property). I did not ask him to inspect my front lawn because I know I have too many broken pipes and sprinklers there, but he did anyway and it resulted in him fixing my timer/control box which now resulted in me being able to irrigate at least part of my front lawn...did not charge me for that. He's also very knowledgeable; offered me many tips for maintaining my lawn and sprinklers. Reasonably priced.

I highly recommend Alex services he is so efficient in all that he does with irrigation. It's almost the middle of summer and my husband was out of town and my dog chewed up the electric line to the valves. I called Alex immediately and he he came out the same day to fix my sprinklers and it was so inexpensive!!

Very pleased with Alex! He was quick to respond to my request and able to address the problem we were having with our sprinklers. I called to request service and was able to come and take a look at the sprinkler system and do the work needed to fix the problem the same day!! He is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I would not hesitate to contact again if I need any other work done and I will recommend him to anyone that needs similar work done

I needed repairs and replacement of sprinkler manifolds in the front and backyard. I read the reviews for Alex and called Monday, May 17, 2021. He came out that same day. He gave me an estimate and I agreed so he was at my house early Tuesday May 18th. He worked fast and did a great job. He finished everything by 3pm even though he was called away for an emergency. There was a sprinkler line in the middle of the backyard that was inoperative. I had consulted another company and they told me they would have to dig up the line. The charges would be $95.00 per hour with the total to be advised. Alex found a leak near the sprinkler on the other side of the yard near the fence. He repaired the line and even moved the sprinkler next to fence forward to better water the yard. I recommend Alex to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking person who takes pride in his work and customer satisfaction.

Alex came out,  assessed our system and provided improvement suggestions.  He was very professional, explained concerns and resolved our irrigation valve issues.  His fee was reasonable and we were highly satisfied with the end result.

We will definitely call him again with future projects.

Alex was great! I had an irrigation system that was leaking and had numerous broken parts. I came outside one morning to have my front yard flooding and wasn't able to turn it off. I had to turn off the whole irrigation system. Alex got back to me immediately and was able to come out that same morning! He is very knowledgeable when it comes to irrigation and he was able to fix all my issues. He was also reasonably priced for all the work he did. I would highly recommend him!

Alex was amazingly responsive and a wealth of information. Moreover, he was extremely professional, kind and understanding. I couldn't have asked for a better person to fix our sprinkler system. Alex replied to my email within minutes and gave me his number to start texting. I sent him photos of the two pipes that were leaking from my sprinkler system. Alex acknowledged I had a major issue, and offered to drive over on his day off to repair the pipes. Alex drove all the way from Manteca to our home in east Contra Costa and promptly got to work. After Alex repaired the pipes, he explained what had occurred and how my sprinkler system works. Alex even offered to teach me how to use the control panel. I greatly appreciated all of the time and effort Alex put in to address the many problems our sprinkler system had. I would definitely hire Alex in the future. Thank you, Alex for a job well done!

Alex provided A1 service. I had other "sprinkler specialists" come to troubleshoot why my sprinkler system wasn't working and they were unable to help me. I was very frustrated until I called Alex. He was so kind on the phone and came out the next morning. He quickly assessed the situation, discovered the problem and fixed it within minutes. This gentleman knows his trade well. I was so impressed. He explained everything and provided advice. He even walked me through the steps to manually run my sprinkler system. Alex went above and beyond. His personality is upbeat and customer focused. His rate was very reasonable. I cannot express well enough how pleased I was with Alex. I highly recommend him and know who to call should I ever have future sprinkler issues. Thank you, Alex!

WOW! What a great guy! We had zero clue about sprinkler system or how they worked when we bought our home in Manteca. We started having problems with our outdated system and decided to look for someone who could help us. Trust me when I say that these wonderful reviews are ALL TRUE! Alex had us take photos of our system and knew exactly what we needed. He drove to our home and not only installed an updated sprinkler system control panel, but he really cared to educated my husband about the system. He's super friendly and reliable. He went above and beyond

I called Alex this morning because we discovered a pool of water in my lawn right next to a lot of concrete work. I was worried that this would be a very, very expensive repair. Alex came out today and identified that the problem was caused by some problems from the original irrigation contractor and that the problem was hidden from me during the house purchase. Luckily now I know and I can try to fix it in a way that isn't going to break the bank. While Alex was here, he helped me review my whole irrigation system and pointed out all of the shortcuts that the previous homeowner's contractor took. For example, my system doesn't have pressure regulators on any of my drip irrigation, a flower bed zone in the back yard is actually run from the manifold at the front of the house, some of the valves aren't even connected to the timer, and one of the timers doesn't even have enough connections to allow it to run all of the zones. All along the way, Alex was very patient and explained everything well. He described to me how each of these things could be fixed but never pressured me to hire him to be the one to do it. From his description, I know what I feel like I can do myself and which things I want to bring him back to do. While he was here, he also programmed my irrigation timers (which I had shut off when I was doing some work over the winter) and showed me how to update them (and what to look for to know if I am watering too much or too little). When he told me what the final bill for the day was, it was MUCH, MUCH less than I was expecting. Alex was an amazing professional and I will definitely be working with him on future projects and also recommending him to any of my friends that need his help.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my sprinklers were not working anymore. I did not know how anyone to fix sprinklers so I decided to shut them down until I figured it out. That's when I searched on Yelp and found Alex's information. I called him based on his reviews and he did not disappoint. He came and evaluated all the sprinklers and found that there was a leak in the pipe that lead to the zone that did not have any pressure. He dug to find the broken pipe and replaced it quite efficiently. He taught me to program my sprinkler system and did not leave until he verified that everything was working properly. I have no idea how the sprinkler system works but he took the time to explain all about zones/pressure etc... and did not run out of patience. I would highly recommend Alex for any sprinkler system issues in your home. I will most definitely call him if I run into anymore issues. Fingers crossed!

Alex did outstanding work and was always professional and friendly. My water irrigation system was leaking. He was able to replace the unit and re-pipe it to have more curb appeal. He also provided advice and tested the system to ensure it worked properly. His quote was fair and well worth the work done.  I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and neighbors in and around Tracy / Mountain House.

If Alex could only do everything with my home repairs, I'll hire this guy in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, he only works on irrigation system. He did a hell of a job on my sprinkler system. Alex is worth every penny. Very friendly and professional, he even taught me how to fix the sprinkler system problem in the future. Thanks Alex, you're the best ....

I contacted Alex via Yelp regarding a finicky sprinkler valve and received a response within a couple of minutes. He came out first thing the next morning and completed the task in an hour (45 minutes of which was waiting for the adhesive to cure prior to final testing). He answered all of my questions, educated me on various options, and explained what he was about to do after we settled on a plan of attack. Everything is back up an running now, and I am thrilled. Highly recommended!

Alex has done many sprinkler & water pipe repairs at my house for several years.  His repairs are always well done.  His estimates/charges are always reasonable & he puts in all the time needed to get the job done right.  I would not hesitate to call Alex for any sprinkler repair/installation job at my home or to recommend his work.

Found Alex from yelp and called for an estimate on tree roots and lawn sprinkler issue. He came for an estimate made a fair price and said he could do work now. Alex found my problem and resolved it quickly, very personable and professional. I had a guy i had used for years when I had these problems. He thought this was too difficult, needless to say I have a new go to person, thanks Alex.

Needed all my sprinkler valves shifted about 6 inches and replaced. Alex did this very quickly and at the best price offered in the area.

Alex was excellent and I would hire again and recommend. After the initial phone call, he came out the next day to fix a leak underground in the lawn irrigation system. We had already found the leak through a separate service (which finds them by pressurizing and listening). Alex found the leaking pipe and fixed it, including a minor re-routing so that the problem would not reoccur. (The leak was caused by another larger pipe pressing down. He re-routed to relieve the pressure.) Then he tested the overall system completely, including staying long enough to be sure the repair was solid. In addition to the repair, he also walked the property with me to discuss any other issues, which was reassuring. His advice was valuable on the overall system, including on another item that we are not fixing now. Alex is professional, easy to work with, and is an irrigation specialist which is what I needed. He gets a high recommendation from me

Alex returned my call very quickly and came out first thing to look at the problem. He gave me a ballpark idea of what he thought it might take to locate the problem and jumped right in. It ended up being a somewhat tricky project as the pipe was much deeper than we imagined and the work space was quite tight, a fence on one side and plants all around. He did a great job dealing with the site conditions (he worked around everything rather than digging it all up) and I now have a working sprinkler system again. Because there were so many unknowns, he keep me in the loop about what was going on. His pricing was very fair and workmanship spot on. He was very pleasant and easy to do business with. I would not hesitate to contact him again.

He returned my call and came out the same day for an estimate. All finished the next day. Couldn't be happier. Did excellent work and guarantees it too.

Sprinkler pipe broke in main manifold. Alex rebuilt the whole thing with new parts in one day even though it was hard to get to and it was nine stations.
